Bingo Lingo used in online Bingo Chat
We all know the classic Bingo chat sayings 'two fat ladies' 88 or 'legs eleven' 11. These have become synonymous with bingo over the years, giving the bingo caller something to make the game more entertaining. Since the introduction of bingo on web, a whole bunch of abbreviations have been developed, especially in the online chat rooms.
Typical bingo chat room abbreviations:-
AFK: Away From Keyboard
A/S/L: Age/sex/location
BAK: Back At Keyboard
BRB: Be Right Back
CM: Chat Manager
FTB: Fun Time Bucks (incentives)
FWIW: For What It's Worth
FYI: For Your Information
GL: Good Luck
GLA: Good Luck All
GG: Good Game
HB: Hurry Back
IMO: In My Opinion
LOL: Laughing Out Loud
LMAO: Laughing My 'A' Off
OMG: Oh My God
TG - To Go (how many left)
TY: Thank You
WW: Warm Welcome
VWW: Very Warm Welcome
WB: Welcome Back
WTG: Way To Go
Being armed with this knowledge will help you look less like a 'newbie' and more like an experienced Bingo player in your next internet bingo game. Be aware there are heaps more of these abbreviations. Just when you are getting the hang of them someone will chuck one into the bingo chat that you've never seen before. Don't be afraid to ask them what there abbreviation is if you don't know, they will probably be more than happy to enlighten you.
