Rummy is a general name for group of skill card games that are usually played by 2 to 4 players.  very A popular game, Rummy is played all round the world and ranked as the forth most played, after Monopoly and Scrabble and Poker.

The main aim of Rummy card games is to be the first player who gets rid of all the cards in their hand.  That happens by drawing and discarding cards in order to create sets and runs with of either, matching numbers, face cards or suits.

Rummy is very easy to play, but can take time to master, the next step is to and learn some of the basic rules of Rummy:

Basic Rummy Rules
During a Rummy game, the cards are moving in a rotation while the players complete the sets in their hands by drawing cards from the remaining deck or from the cards that already put down by players in the discard pile.

In one round game of Rummy, the winner is the first player who get rid of the all the cards in their hand. In a tournament, the winner of the game is the last player who left in the table after all the other players eliminated by getting to the negative points that are determined in the beginning of every game. Most Rummy tournaments are played online.
