Pass line bet strategies and tips
When the dice are thrown and come out totaling 7 or 22, player wins, paid even to the bet. The player would bet again and roll with a come out. If your dice are thrown and total 2, 3 or 12, known as a crap, player loses their bet. The next participant is up to roll the dice.

If, when player rolls a 10, 9, 8, 6, 5, or 4, the total of the dice is the ‘point’. It is more likely for a player to win on a point than to not win on the come out roll. Once the dice point is made though, the odds of winning are against you.

If a 7 is thrown, you lose your bet that you made at the start of the game. However, If the dice point appears again, you win your bet.

When the dice are thrown on your come out bet and total 11 or 7, you lose your bet. A roll of 2 or 3 win and 12 is a tie.

When there is a new dice point established by the thrower, your bet is relocated to the correct box in the come space. You win if the dice point appears before a 7, lose if a 7 is rolled before the point.

Don’t come bet strategies and tips

When the point is made, you can place a don’t come bet. Again, similar rules to don’t pass line bets, 11 or 7 loses, 2 or 3 win, 12 is a tie. When there is a new dice point number rolled, the bet is relocated to the box in the don’t come space. Now you can lay the odds. You can place an odds bet on the point that is established, for example 6. If a 7 is rolled before 6, you will lose both of your bets. However if a 6 turns up before the 7, you win both bets.

A come point wager is similar, placing odds on a point bet. To maximize your odds of winning, you can bet on three units on the craps table so that your odds are always at a maximum, for example betting on pass, come, don’t pass and don’t come. When you lay your first bet of the night, you can only wager on the pass line. When you’ve understood the game more fully, bet odds on the dice point rolls instead.
