Grand National 2010 Tips
Here are a selection of tips for the Grand National 2010 including a tip for the favourite, an each-way bet and an outside chance. These tips are the opinions of our betting expert who follows racing throughout the year, studying the form of all the horses taking part. Everybody loves a tip for the Grand National, so we hope that ours prove successful to you if you decide to use them.
Grand National Tip for Winner - Black Apalachi
Black Apalachi is a horse with a real chance of winning the Grand National. In 2008 he proved that this course is an ideal length for him, winning by a clear margin in the Becher Chase. As long as he can make it round without falling, you will expect to see Black Apalachi amongst the leaders come the home straight. His current odds make him a good value bet for the Grand National 2010, especially if the going is soft as predicted.
Grand National Tip for Each Way - Whinstone Boy
Whinstone Boy is a horse that will relish soft conditions on race day, having bagged six career wins on heavy ground. Very few horses have done this before, which makes him a great bet assuming the conditions don’t change. By placing an each-way bet on Whinstone Boy you will get plenty of value with his odds being so undervalued, then you just have to hope he makes all the jumps.
Grand National Tip for Outside Chance - Fassel
A horse worth an outside bet on is Fassel, who is currently at long odds to win the Grand National. However, since 2007 this racehorse has been focused on fences, with 4 of 5 career wins coming over jumps. The Grand National is all about outsiders, look at last year’s winner Mon Mome 100/1 SP, and Fassel has just as much chance as many others. This horse is certainly worth considering for a small bet each way.
