The Poker Channel To Broadcast European Horse Racing

poker channelThe Poker Channel has forged an unlikely partnership this week by agreeing to show live horseracing coverage as it seeks to increase its market share across Europe.
 
The new live horseracing coverage will be aired for an hour every evening from some of the best known US racetracks including Philadelphia Park, Hawthorne and Tampa Bay. Racing coverage will be broadcast live on the Poker Channel in all markets except the UK and Ireland.
 
Racing coverage will also include gambling tips, guides and form information provided by expert punters and commentators. Viewers can also use the interactive Poker Channel website to access more content.

Chris White, Managing Director of The Poker Channel said, “We’re delighted to announce these new distribution agreements, as we increase our investment in new programming.”

The Poker Channel attracts close to 1 million unique TV viewers every month, with 65 percent of TV viewers playing online every day. It also has alliances with some of the leading online poker sites. From 1 June it will available on cable TV in Cyprus, Croatia, Germany, Poland, and Portugal. Following these agreements, the Poker Channel will reach approximately 17 million homes in 20 European countries.
