Wayne Rooney makes his return from suspension tonight in England’s final group game against Ukraine in Donetsk that could see Roy Hodgson’s men reach the Euro 2012 Quarter Finals.
Rooney was suspended for two games after being sent off in England’s Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro in October 2011. He returns to action tonight and is hoping to help guide England into the knockout stages.
His return has sparked a large number of patriotic bets to be placed on the match and interest in the fixture could not be higher.
Markets have been opened for a huge quantity of Rooney and England relating betting. Rooney is available with William Hill at 7/2 to score more goals than Ukraine tonight. It is evens for Rooney to score the same number of goals as Ukraine. William Hill has also made Rooney 4/11 to score no goals in tonight’s game, 9/4 to score one goal, 9/1 to score two goals and 33/1 to score three goals or more.
England are also being made available at 9/4 to finish third and fail to qualify from this group for those punters that are fearing the worst. However, William Hill is offering England at 2/1 to qualify as group winners and 11/10 to qualify as group runners up.
