|Rank Group Signs Up Arnold KLP Creative Agency|
Rank Group’s betting brand, Blue Square, announced that it had hired the services of the Arnold KLP creative agency to manage its £4 million account.
The acquisition of Arnold KLP’s services came as part of Blue Square’s long term strategic business plan. Arnold KLP will focus its attention on Blue Square’s football and horse racing online betting facilities.
Blue Square aims to make the most of a busy summer of activity in the football and horse racing genres with Euro 2012, Glorious Goodwood, London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics all providing heavy traffic for the betting brand.
Blue Square also hired the Hill and Knowlton Strategies firm that will look to promote the Blue Square brand as a “no-nonsense approach to betting” and will deal with the betting firm’s consumer communications.
Hill and Knowlton Sports was also signed up to handle Blue Square’s demand for growing awareness of their brand and helping to boost interest in both its online and offline activity.
These latest moves by Blue Square come shortly after Rank Group appointed Aegis Media’s Carat to manage its media planning and buying account. Another Rank Group business, Coral, has started to approach businesses regarding opportunities to develop the company’s brand across its betting, bingo and casino ventures.
