| Playtech To Become Betfair's Sole Casino Supplier |
Playtech, one of the biggest online software gaming providers, has once again teamed up with Betfair in a deal which will see them add flash games to the already established download casino products.
Last year, Betfair chose Playtech to provide for its download casino format in an exclusive deal. Now Playtech is to become Betfair's only provider of casino products as an agreement has been reached which will see them supply flash-based casino games to Betfair by the end of this month.
Online gaming software provider, Chartwell, were responsible for Betfair's flash content until their four year contract expired earlier this month. Over 75% of players at Betfair play via flash so Playtech are overjoyed with this latest deal.
Playtech CEO, Mor Weizer, commented: “This is a significant expansion of our casino relationship with Betfair as the flash format makes up the substantial portion of their player's activity.
“We have very much enjoyed working with the Betfair team over the past year and this move will be a step change in our relationship as we become their exclusive casino tab supplier, and an important new revenue stream for us.”
Amongst Playtech's vast slot offerings are their extremely popular film-based slots, which include Pink Panther, Rocky and Gladiator.
