Ladbrokes logoOne player was celebrating becoming a millionaire this week after winning £1,364,745 at Ladbrokes Bingo.

The lucky winner was confirmed as Lisa Potter from Witney in Oxfordshire and won the huge sum after placing a £5 bet. The figure is one of the largest jackpot prizes to ever be won on a bingo game in the world.

Lisa said that she decided to have a go at the online bingo site because Euro 2012 was on the television in her house. This is obviously an action that has been repeated across the country as Ladbrokes confirmed that female activity at the online bingo site had increased by 400% since the major football tournament kicked off.

Lisa also stated “I had a spare minute and wanted to get away from the football so I decided to log on. As soon as I saw the size of the jackpot I thought it was worth a go and I couldn't believe my eyes when it said that I'd won. I can't remember much after. It's all a blur. My kids came into the room and we all started screaming. It's like a madhouse in here."

She continued “We're a normal family so this will change my life forever."

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said “We're absolutely over the moon for her. It's one of the biggest wins of all time and we've sent the champers along to kick off the celebrations. We bet she'll never moan at her man for watching the footie ever again.”

Lisa confirmed that she planned on using her winnings to buy a new car and house. She also planned on taking the family on a much needed holiday break.
