Virgin Bingo logoThe new Virgin Bingo television advertising campaign is set to hit the airwaves this quarter and has found inspiration from the classic Roald Dahl book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

In the latest Virgin Bingo advert, a woman is taken on a guided tour of the imaginery Virgin Bingo factory where the tour guide takes on a similar role to Willy Wonka as he shows the woman how the place runs.

Further influence from the book can be found as the staff in the factory resembles the vitality, efficiency and poise of the oompa loompa’s. The tour guide shows the woman all the benefits that can be enjoyed from joining Virgin Bingo including the £25 sign up bonus.

The advert is aimed at a demographic of females between the ages of 25 and 54 years of age. It has been produced by ABF Pictures and will be screened on Five, ITV and various Sky channels over the first quarter of 2012.

Virgin Games CEO, Simon Burridge, stated "This new advert has a flavour of Willy Wonka for adults about it. It has lots of energy, excitement & fun - just what consumers have come to expect from a Virgin advert."

Matt Barraclough, Creative Director at ABF Pictures confirmed "We were thrilled to have the opportunity of working with the Virgin Games team. A brand like Virgin allows us to think bigger & look at online bingo in a different way. We wanted to stand out from traditional bingo commercials & do it in a very Virgin way."
