New Poker Application Aimed at Skins Comes Onto Market

poker tableOnline Poker Network has launched a poker application within the Connective Games poker software platform, aimed at the small to medium poker skin market.
 
The new application is designed to give new poker sites a range of games to launch with. The reduced volume of games offered allows new entrants to the market time to get established without outlaying huge amounts of cash.
 
Chief executive Konstantin Zubarev said this week, “We are delighted to have partnered with Online Poker Network, which enables us to offer enhanced value to all our licensees.  Initially the new poker network will provide poker and casino but plans to extend its service offering through us once a variety of strategic partnerships have been agreed.”

A "poker skin" is an online poker room with someone else's software, but original graphical elements. They have caused mixed reactions in the online poker world, with many worried about the effect they have on the reputation of the industry.
