| London Poker Festival Scheduled for September |
The London Poker Festival has officially been scheduled to make a return to the capital city in September it was confirmed this week.London will have seen the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the London 2012 Olympics and the London 2012 Paralympics come the start of September and then it will see over £1 million worth of prizes up for grabs in one of the biggest poker festivals in the world.
80 poker events will make up the global showpiece that will see poker fever hit the capital city for an entire month. The festival will see a schedule of cash games, tournaments, comedy nights, live music, a poker academy and the British Poker Awards.
Some of the stand out events from the festival will include the LCI UK Poker Tour, The Big Bluff Five-O, The Unibet Open London, the English Poker Open, the GUKPT, the 888.com Superstack and the September Festival Main Event.
Editor-in-Chief of Bluff Europe Michael Caselli said “The London Poker Festival is a unique celebration of the London poker community, which is the best in the world. By putting on this very special schedule events, we want to give something back to the poker community while at the same time positioning London as a major poker destination to the rest of the world.”
The London Poker Festival will begin at 2pm on Saturday 1st September, 2012 with the £250 buy-in Fox Super Saturday No Limit Hold’em event.
