| Italian Footballer Vieri Considers Playing Poker Professionally |
Former Italy and Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri has told Sportweek Magazine that he is considering competing in professional poker tournaments when his football career comes to an end.The 35-year-old forward is currently without a club contract, having quit Serie A side Atalanta this month after fans jeered him during a training session.
Vieri told Sportweek: "I enjoy cards a lot...but my future is still in football, I will stop when I'm fed up chasing after a ball and I am not bored yet.”
“When I'm retired, who knows, I could become a professional poker player."
Lets hope he doesn’t get jeered by poker fans, if he ever decides to persue a career playing cards.
