|Italian Footballer Vieri Considers Playing Poker Professionally|
Former Italy and Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri has told Sportweek Magazine that he is considering competing in professional poker tournaments when his football career comes to an end.
The 35-year-old forward is currently without a club contract, having quit Serie A side Atalanta this month after fans jeered him during a training session.
Vieri told Sportweek: "I enjoy cards a lot...but my future is still in football, I will stop when I'm fed up chasing after a ball and I am not bored yet.”
“When I'm retired, who knows, I could become a professional poker player."
Lets hope he doesn’t get jeered by poker fans, if he ever decides to persue a career playing cards.
