Phil HellmuthPhil Hellmuth, aka 'Poker Brat', has recorded another win in the World Series of Poker, taking his career winning bracelets to 14. His latest victory in a $10,000 buy-in razz championship event was dedicated to his friend, the late Dave Goldberg.

The record-breaking win now puts Hellmuth out on his own, ahead of industry greats such as Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey and Johnny Chan.  He scooped a winning prize of $271,105 on Tuesday morning, bringing his lifetime total at the WSOP to $12.8m.

"I have a knack for that game," he told Yahoo Sports on Tuesday by phone.

"It just felt like I was very calm and I was seeing everything," he said.

The razz event that Phil won is a variation of seven-card stud poker where the lowest five-card hand is the winner. Hellmuth fought off competition from 102 other entrants to win his latest title.
