Grand National 2009 Latest News
(Updated 24/02/2009)

It appears that bookmaker's are going to stick with My Will for the National favourite, with few runners likely to come close to the short priced 7/1 totesport Nicholls trained horse. My Will will be ridden by twice National winner Ruby Walsh. The Champion Jockey also picked up the Cheltenham Gold Cup 2 weeks ago on the back of Kauto Star.

Other Grand National Contenders
Butlers Cabin has seen a gradule shortening in price to 10/1 with Bet365, and has been joined by three or four market movers in the last 24 hours. The most notable being State of Play now 14/1 William Hill and Parsons Legacy who is now 16/1 with totesport  from 40/1 earlier this week.

There is no confusion about which horse is carrying top weight. Exotic Dancer heads the weights, as he did in 2007, with an allocation of 11st 10lb.
