Danyl Slides, Olly Leaps and Joe Holds Firm in X Factor Betting

X FactorNot even the shrewdest of bettors could have predicted last week's dramatic elimination vote on X Factor would have included one of the competition’s favourites. But Danyl Johnson found himself dangling preciously close to edge after receiving the joint lowest amount of votes from the public.

In stark contrast, John and Edward Grimes got the most votes even though they were accused of not being able to sing by Simon Cowell. Nothing seems certain in what is proving to be one of the most unpredictable X Factor's ever.

Risers and Fallers
Joe McElderry continues to hold the favourite spot in the betting at his odds shorten to 7/2 from 4/1 with Betfair. Jumping into second place in the betting in Olly Murs, now 9/2 with Betfair, after being out at 8/1 last week. He pushes Danyl Johnson down to 11/2 with Betfair, although many will not fancy a bet on him after his appearance in the bottom two.

If you fancy a bit of a bet to nothing, John and Edward Grimes are currently 25/1 with VC Bet to win X Factor. They may not be the best act in the competition, but they are wowing the public with their resilience to critism.

Next X Factor Elimination
Rachel Adedeji put in an improved performance last week and avoided the bottom two, but bookies are still convinced she is next to go. At 19/10 with Betfair, the much malined diva is short-priced to get eliminated next. She is closely followed by Lloyd Daniels at 10/3 and the Grime Brothers at 4/1.
