| Continued Problems at PlayNow.com Sends Players Elsewhere |
What appeared to be a great opportunity for the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), is turning into a PR nightmare, as their brand new legal North American online casino remains unavailable.As Betastic reported Monday, their new casino site PlayNow.com is down due to too many users trying to register. In a matter of hours, PlayNow.com was closed with only a landing page to explain that they were experiencing technical difficulties and would be back soon.
The up shot is that several competitors, such as Bodog, Club USA Casino and Manhattan Slots have seen a spike in visitor numbers, possibly from disgruntled players who tried to sign at PlayNow.com.
After initial reports suggested PlayNow.com would be back up Tuesday, it looks like an even longer wait for customers wanting to join.
