| Betfair Launches First iPad App |
Betfair has launched the egaming industry’s first available betting application for the Apple iPad.The free app, available to download from today and specifically designed for the iPad, will initially be available in the UK and Ireland.
Don Fotsch, Betfair’s global director of user experience, said: “The release of the Betfair iPad application is another example of us offering our customers the most cutting edge methods of placing their bets.
“Once more we are pushing the boundaries when it comes to adapting our products to the latest web and technology trends, reflecting our entrepreneurial roots and obsession with delivering engaging customer experiences,” he added.
Earlier in May this year Betfair launched the first iPhone betting app, while in July it announced the industry’s first betting application for internet-connected televisions. There are currently very few internet televisions on the market. The Sony BRAVIA NX803, for example, is available for around £2,000.
