| $4.1m Jackpot Won At Spin Palace Despite Claims From Other Casinos |
Microgaming announced yesterday that its Mega Moolah Summertime jackpot of $4.1m (won on 29th August) was in fact won at Spin Palace Casino, despite claims from other online casinos that it was won with them.On 31st August, we reported that the $4.1m Mega Moolah Summertime progressive jackpot was won at Blackjack Ballroom. This was because Blackjack Ballroom claimed it was won by someone playing at their site, which was soon followed by the same claims from other online casinos. It has now come to light that the life-changing jackpot was won at Spin Palace Casino.
Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, was pleased to finally set the record straight: "I am delighted that the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot was won on 29th August, and can confirm that even though the win has been claimed by a number of different casinos, it was in fact won by a player on Spin Palace Casino."
The jackpot, which was originally reported as being hit by an anonymous slot player, was won by a lady currently only known as Mrs. P.
A Spin Palace Casino spokesperson said: "This is a substantial win, and understandably Mrs. P is quite overwhelmed by what will undoubtedly be a life-changing windfall.
"We are currently in discussions with her, and will hopefully be able to make further announcements shortly."
