Gold Cup Tip for Winner - Kauto Star

Although Kauto Star just passes the trending age for Cheltenham Gold Cup winners, he makes a worthy favourite. Twice winner of this race in the past and currently in fine form and with Ruby Walsh riding him again, I can't see any other horse beating him.

Gold Cup Tip for Each Way - Cooldine

It's hard to see how any horse outside the Nicholl's trained pair has a chance, but one worth a look is Cooldine. The Willie Mullins trained 8 year-old showed a return to form at the Hennessey recently, having not been at full strength. This race horse is the right age and has won at the Cheltenham festival before. Definitely worth a look as an each-way bet.

Gold Cup Tips for Outside Chance - Carruthers

This 7-year-old gelding has got a massive task ahead if he wants to beat the likes of Kauto Star and Denman in the Gold Cup, but at 69/1 you can afford to have a small punt on this horse. Finished second in his last outing at Prestbury Park and knows this course well. Don't be surprised if Carruthers finishes in the top 3 at Cheltenham.
